We are an extremity-focused orthopedic sales organization specializing in foot and ankle, upper extremity, sports medicine, soft tissue, and biologics.

This is an entry-level 1099 position designed for someone looking to break into the medical device industry, learn from an experienced sales team, and build a long-term career in orthopedic sales.

We are not necessarily looking for someone with orthopedic experience. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn, grow, and earn their opportunities.

WHO WE WANT
  • Hardworking, competitive individuals: People who are driven to succeed, willing to put in the effort, and motivated to build a career in medical device sales.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist with surgical case preparation, instrumentation, inventory management, and operating room coverage.
  • Develop a working knowledge of orthopedic anatomy, surgical procedures, implants, and medical technologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist the sales team in growing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper surgical sets and instrumentation are available to support customer needs.
  • Uphold professional standards, regulatory compliance, patient confidentiality, and AdvaMed principles.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales, athletics, customer service, or operations experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing and applicable vaccination requirements, including influenza vaccination.
  • Willingness to accommodate early mornings, changing surgical schedules, and occasional evenings.

Orthopedic medical device sales is not a traditional 9-to-5 career. It requires flexibility, dedication, accountability, and a team-first mentality.

WHAT VALOR MEDICAL OFFERS
  • An industry-respected, successful sales organization with a strong reputation for customer service.
  • Structured product and orthopedic industry training.
  • Hands-on field training and mentorship from experienced sales representatives.
